Boštjan Tadel

A few words about the author

After graduating from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana in 1993, Boštjan Tadel (1966) worked as a copywriter and creative director in advertising agencies and as a journalist and editor in print media (Polet, Marketing magazin, Pogledi). From April 2010, he was the deputy editor-in-chief of Pogledi, and from May 2013 to October 2014, he was the editor-in-chief of Pogledi and the online portal pogledi.si. While still a student, he directed the radio series Klinika Tivoli doo for Radio Slovenia, which was later staged. His play Anywhere out of this world was semi-staged in English translation as part of the presentation of Slovenian drama in London in the fall of 2005. Tadel is also a co-writer of the TV series Skrito v raju and Najini mostovi. Between 2015 and 2018, he was a member of the cabinet at the Ministry of Culture. Tadel is the author of the first book series in Slovenia, based on the film adaptation of the popular TV series Hidden in Paradise.
